Belize Karate Federation to host invitational tournament in Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 🥋 The Belize Karate Federation is conducting an Invitational Sport Karate Tournament, scheduled for Sunday, February 15 at the Gateway Youth Center, located at 244 Dakers Street, Belize City.

The tournament, which begins at 9:00 am, will feature Kata and Kumite competitions for youth ages 5 to 17, along with an Open Division for adults 18 and above. With a registration fee of $50.00 and general entrance set at $5.00, the event aims to be both competitive and community-friendly.

Organized by the Belize Karate Federation, the tournament is part of its ongoing efforts to promote karate as a tool for personal development, discipline, and national pride. Athletes from across the country are expected to participate, making it a vibrant gathering of Belize’s growing karate community.

Spectators can expect a full day of action.

The Belize Karate Federation encourages early registration and punctual attendance to ensure smooth proceedings and maximum enjoyment.

“Get ready for an exciting day of skill, discipline, and competitive spirit as karatekas take the mat to start the season strong. See you there!” the Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association said.
