By Zoila Palma: The Government of Belize, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Culture and Immigration and the Ministry of Economic Transformation, is hosting the third International Partners Conference, an annual forum that brings together Belize’s key development partners to strengthen cooperation and align support with the country’s national priorities.
As a small island developing state, Belize remains highly vulnerable to the escalating impacts of climate change.
Through this conference, the government reaffirms its commitment to leading regional efforts in the transition to renewable energy while advancing climate resilience and sustainable growth.
This year’s conference, themed “Investing in the Green Transition,” centers on priority areas such as energy resilience, e-mobility, green infrastructure, green education, and financing challenges.
The two-day event aims to foster collaboration and mobilize international resources to accelerate Belize’s path toward a greener and more sustainable future. The conference concludes tomorrow.
