By Zoila Palma: The Belize Government Lotteries Limited (BGLL) has announced the return of its highly anticipated $1 Million Jackpot Game, marking a major milestone in the company’s history.
The special edition lottery celebrates BGLL’s long-standing commitment to its players and community, with proceeds going toward a charitable organization selected by the company’s board.
Ticket sales begin today, November 3, 2025, and are available through all BGLL sub-agents nationwide.
Players will also be able to purchase tickets through the Fi We Boledo App starting Wednesday, November 5.
Each ticket costs $5 and allows players to select a four-digit sequence for a chance to win the grand prize of $1 million. In the event of multiple winners, the jackpot will be divided equally.
Ticket sales close on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:50 a.m., with the official drawing scheduled for 12:00 noon at BGLL’s Belmopan office.
Winners can begin claiming prizes from December 22, 2025, at the company’s Belmopan headquarters during regular business hours. Both paper and digital tickets will be valid for 30 days after the draw date.
Players are reminded to keep their paper tickets legible, ensuring the QR code and ticket number remain intact, and those purchasing via the mobile app must have an updated profile with a valid bank account number to redeem prizes.
In a statement, BGLL thanked its loyal players for their continued support and encouraged everyone to play responsibly.
