By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under 17 Belize Men’s National Team (U17 BMNT) take the field tonight at 7:00 pm at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City as they open their Concacaf U17 Qualifiers campaign against El Salvador. The U17 BMNT, guided by head coach Philip Marin, have been in Guatemala since Sunday preparing for the tournament and are now set for their first official match.
Group F began earlier today with Cuba defeating Curaçao 1–0, giving the Cubans the early lead in the standings. With only the group winners advancing to the FIFA U‑17 World Cup Qatar 2026, Belize know that every match is decisive.

The U17 BMNT feature a blend of emerging talent and leadership, highlighted by Marlon Meza, the Mount Pleasant midfielder who has already earned caps with the A‑level Belize Men’s National Team.
