By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belize continues to experience generally pleasant weather as the country moves through November, the final month of the Atlantic hurricane season.
The National Meteorological Service is forecasting mostly sunny conditions for Thursday, November 5, with only isolated showers expected nationwide.
Inland communities will experience the highest temperatures, reaching 92°F, while coastal areas can expect highs of 87°F. The hills will remain cooler at approximately 80°F.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to 70°F inland, 76°F along the coast and 67°F in the hills.
For those planning fishing trips, boat excursions or other marine activities, sea conditions are expected to remain slight, with waves ranging from 1 to 3 feet and winds of 5 to 10 knots.
Friday will bring another day of mainly fair weather, although forecasters indicate a medium chance of a few showers developing over northern and central coastal and offshore areas Friday night.
There is also encouraging news regarding tropical activity, as forecasters do not expect tropical cyclone formation in the region over the next 48 hours.
The Atlantic hurricane season officially ends on November 30, and residents are reminded to continue monitoring weather updates until the season concludes.
