By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect generally fair weather conditions this weekend as the National Meteorological Service reports sunny skies with a few cloudy spells throughout the day and night. According to Forecaster Francisca Wellington, isolated showers and thunderstorms will occur, with a few more developing along the coast tonight.
Light and variable winds will keep marine conditions calm, with seas remaining slight and wave heights between one and three feet. Temperatures will be warm, reaching highs of 93°F inland, 89°F along the coast, and 80°F in the hills. Tonight, lows will dip to 71°F inland, 77°F on the coast, and 68°F in the hills.
A tropical wave over the central tropical Atlantic is being monitored closely by the National Meteorological Service. While gradual development of this system is possible as it moves into the Caribbean Sea next week, it poses no immediate threat to Belize.
The forecast outlook for Sunday indicates similar conditions—isolated showers or thunderstorms across most areas, with a few more expected along coastal and inland regions during the morning, afternoon, and night.
