By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect another warm and mostly dry day as a moderate east to southeasterly airflow continues to dominate weather conditions across the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, sunny skies with only a few cloudy spells will prevail throughout much of Tuesday, creating ideal conditions for outdoor work, travel, tourism, and recreational activities.
Temperatures are expected to climb to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, while coastal areas will experience highs near 90 degrees. The hills will remain cooler, with temperatures reaching approximately 82 degrees.
Forecasters say shower activity will remain limited. Any rainfall that develops is expected to be isolated, with a small chance of inland thunderstorms during the afternoon. Later tonight and into the early morning hours, isolated showers or thunderstorms could affect parts of southern Belize.
Marine conditions remain moderate, with easterly to southeasterly winds between 10 and 20 knots and wave heights ranging from four to six feet.
The good news for residents, farmers, and emergency officials is that fair and mostly dry weather is expected to continue through Wednesday and Wednesday night.
There is also no indication of tropical cyclone development near Belize during the next 48 hours, according to the latest tropical weather outlook.
After recent periods of heavy rainfall and localized flooding in parts of the country, the current stretch of stable weather offers a welcome opportunity for communities to recover and enjoy more favorable conditions.
Forecaster Catherine Cumberbatch says the overall weather pattern remains relatively dry and stable, with only isolated shower activity expected over the coming days.
