Belize Defence Force conducts Officer Selection Board 97

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Defence Force (BDF) Officer Selection was conducted on January 4 to 5, 2024 at Price Barracks in Ladyville with a total of 27 candidates. 

The Belize Defence Force Officers selection process typically involves a series of assessments including a physical test, interviews, and a series of academic evaluations. 

Candidates that qualified after the initial selection moved on to day 2 which was the Command Task phase.

In the Command task phase, candidates command and control are tested when given a task.

Candidates problem-solving techniques were also tested.

Following the process, only 9 were selected to join the ranks of the Belize Defence Force as Cadet Officer.
