Belize Defence Force completes senior Leaders’ Public Speaking and Writing Course

By Zoila Palma: The Belize Defence Force recently concluded a Public Speaking and Strategic Writing Course at Price Barracks in Ladyville.

Held from February 10 to February 28, 2025, the course brought together senior officers from the Belize Police Department, Belize Customs and Excise Department, and the Belize Defence Force.

Over three weeks, participants focused on key topics like media engagement, British Parliamentary Debate Style, and proposal and policy writing.

The program aimed to enhance communication skills, fostering interagency collaboration and improving the ability to engage with the public and stakeholders effectively.

The Belize Defence Force says that it continues to prioritize professional development, congratulating all participants on their successful completion of the course.
