By Aaron Humes: A Belize City woman’s home was targeted early this morning, Sunday, police report.
According to the complainant a man of medium build, clear complexion, about 5 feet 6 inches in height, dressed in dark camouflage pants and black boots, with his face covered with a dark mask and a dark peak cap entered her room and pointed a firearm at her direction. He then tied both her hands and feet with a cable and covered her mouth with a cloth.
He stole $6,812 worth of electronics, jewelry and other valuables including identification and bank cards before escaping. Entry was gained by climbing the fence to the roof of the garage to the veranda of the second floor through the glass as it was opened.
Police are investigating.
