By Aaron Humes: The Special Patrol Unit (SPU) in Belize City removed a significant quantity of marijuana from the streets during a routine operation on Sunday.
About 15 kilos or more than 33 pounds of cannabis were found abandoned near Reggae Street, with no individuals present at the time.
The substance was officially recorded and deposited as found property, and investigations are ongoing to determine its origin and intended destination.
