By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Belize City are investigating the murder of a woman in her early 30s, identified as Delecia Flowers, who was found dead inside her home on Complex Street early this morning.
According to reports, Flowers was brutally beaten, and her teenage daughter was also injured in the attack. The teen was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Scenes of Crime personnel and investigators are on the scene collecting evidence as police launch a homicide investigation into the incident.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive or confirmed if any suspects are in custody. Residents in the area say they were shocked by the discovery, describing Flowers as a quiet and friendly woman.
Police continue to canvass the neighborhood for witnesses as investigations continue.
