By Aaron Humes: Police are looking for three men for questioning following a shooting incident on Friday night in Belize City.
A man identified as 25-year-old Justin Gentle of corner Tigris and Dean Streets visited the Police Station at King Street about 8:30 p.m. Friday, telling police he had just been shot. He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.
According to Gentle, he and others were on the street side on Euphrates Avenue about 8:25 p.m. when two men carrying firearms walked up to them and opened fire, injuring Gentle, before running away down Euphrates Avenue and escaping.
Police investigations are underway.
