By Aaron Humes: 53-year-old Jerod Dawson will serve concurrent sentences of 15 years imprisonment for unlawful sexual assault of a minor by penetration and four years for sexual assault of a minor by order of High Court Justice Nigel Pilgrim.
Dawson was convicted in May of two counts of unlawful intercourse and fondling of a 12-year-old girl in March of 2022.
The victim testified in camera that the assault took place at a house on the Philip Goldson Highway. Dawson, represented by Virginia Requeña, declined to testify in his own defense but claimed during the trial that the story had been fabricated against him.
