By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a shooting incident that left a Belize City man hospitalized.
On Thursday, September 11, about 10:32 p.m., police responded to a report at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival, they observed 28-year-old Esau Louima, a Belizean of a Belize City address, with gunshot injuries to the body.
Initial investigation revealed that about 10:15 p.m., Esau Louima was standing on his veranda when an unknown man entered his yard and fired several shots in his direction, causing his injuries. Esau is in a stable condition.
