Belize City man gets 5 months in jail for stolen water pressure tank

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Moses Jesus Conorquie, 43, has been sentenced to five months in prison for handling a stolen water pressure tank.

Conorquie appeared unrepresented in court on Monday and was read a single charge of handling stolen goods. Police say on February 2 he was found in possession of a stolen Whirlpool water pressure tank valued at $125.

He pleaded guilty to the charge but because of prior convictions for the same offense, he was imposed a sentenced of 5 months in prison.
