By Breaking Belize News Staff: Norris Leslie, a resident of Mahogany Street, Belize City, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to possession of 0.5 grams of crack cocaine in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court.
Appearing unrepresented before Magistrate Ludlow Black, Leslie admitted to the July 6, 2025 offense and was fined $150 plus $5 cost of court, payable by August 29, 2025. Failure to pay will result in two months imprisonment.
Magistrate Black opted for a non-custodial sentence, noting that this was Leslie’s first conviction, and he had taken responsibility by entering an early guilty plea and avoiding trial.
