By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City laborer has been arrested and charged in connection with an aggravated burglary investigation, police confirmed.
Reports indicate that the charge stems from a complaint made on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Following investigations into the matter, authorities moved to bring charges against a suspect believed to have assisted in the commission of the crime.
On Monday, March 30, 2026, police obtained a warrant in the first instance, swore to an information and complaint, and formally arrested and charged 26-year-old Jory Chad Bowden, a laborer of Belize City, for the offense of abetment to commit aggravated burglary.
After being cautioned, Bowden requested to make a phone call to his mother, which was granted.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
