By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old pump attendant in Belize City. However, foul play is not suspected.
On Wednesday, January 7, about 1:34 p.m., police responded to a report in the Belama Phase 3 area. Upon arrival, they observed the motionless body of a man lying in a drain. Initial investigations revealed that at about 1:33 p.m., a citizen was riding along Lord Rhaburn Street when he observed the motionless body in the drain and alerted police.
The body was identified as 22-year-old Kevin Woodye, a Belizean pump attendant of Belize City. It was reported that Kevin had been suffering from seizures over the past two months.
