By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested an 18-year-old fisherman in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Floyd McFadzean, which took place on March 21.
Shenyon Levi Barrow has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, dangerous harm, grievous harm, and two counts of the use of deadly means of harm.
McFadzean and three other men were traveling in a vehicle early on Friday morning when they came under fire on Cemetery Road. The vehicle ended up crashing on Johnson Street with McFadzean dying at the scene. Another man, Jaheim Bent, fled the area but wound up collapsed on Tigris Street while Deon Gladden has since been treated and released and Troy Gentle is listed in stable condition. Police transported both to the hospital.
Police reports suggested more than one shooter was involved and their investigations continue.
