By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize City Defenders are holding the second night of open tryouts on Wednesday, January 3 at the Belize City Civic Center.
The Defenders are preparing for the new Belize Elite Basketball League (BEBL) championship and are checking out new prospects in tryouts which run from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The Defenders held the first tryout session from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday, January 2 at the Belize City Civic Center.
The Belize City team is working towards a much better performance in the 2024 after finishing fifth and failing to make the playoffs in the 2023 season.
