By Zoila Palma: Today, the Belize City Council expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the 9th anniversary Super sale on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
“What a way to celebrate! From incredible bargains and local business opportunities to family fun and unforgettable entertainment, the Super Sale: Anniversary Edition 2026 went out with a bang,” the council said.
Launched in 2018 under Mayor Bernard Wagner’s leadership, the Downtown Super Sale has become a signature community initiative, bringing Albert Street to life, creating valuable opportunities for local economic development, and giving residents a chance to shop, save, and enjoy a day out with their families.
The Belize City Council thanked the businesses and sponsors who contributed to making the Grand Raffle Book a tremendous success.
“Your generosity, partnership, and willingness to give back helped make the experience even more exciting for our shoppers and added tremendous value to this year’s celebration. You helped turn every purchase into another opportunity to win, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Beyond the activities, the real success of the Downtown Super Sale is YOU, our residents, shoppers, vendors, entrepreneurs, performers, and community partners who continue to make this initiative what it is,” the council added.
The council thanked everyone for supporting local commerce.
