By Zoila Palma: The Belize City Council has reaffirmed its commitment to public health and wellness by supporting a recent free dental clinic for children, hosted in collaboration with Phoenix ILS and the Smile 4 Belize team at the Lion’s Club.
The initiative aligns with the Council’s 2024–2027 strategic plan to promote meaningful healthcare opportunities for residents.
Children attending the clinic received free dental checkups and treatments while learning the importance of proper oral hygiene.
The event also featured a special visit from Miss World Belize, Faith Edgar, and Miss Universe Belize, Isabella Zabaneh, who lent their voices in support of the cause and encouraged healthy habits among the youth.
The Council extended heartfelt thanks to Phoenix ILS, Smile 4 Belize, and the pageant representatives for helping to advance a shared vision of a healthier Belize City.
