Mayor Bernard Wagner continues to connect with the Belizean diaspora.
Councillor Javier Castellanos and his team represented the Council admirably, providing vital information on property taxes, disaster relief essentials and the diaspora help desk.
Festival-goers enjoyed a trip down memory lane with an array of Belizean treats, including decadent fudge, sticky tableta, tambram sweet, wangla, kahsham, cutubrute, and other local specialties, while being entertained by vibrant performances from both local and international Belizean artists.
“This event not only deepened our ties with the Belizean diaspora community but also celebrated our rich cultural heritage, fostering a deeper connection to our roots throughout September celebrations and beyond,” the Belize City Council noted.
