Described as quiet, clean, and efficient, the eTaxis aim to transform how residents and visitors move around the city. From daily commutes to late-night outings, the service promises a safe, eco-friendly, and reliable alternative to traditional taxis.
The eTaxis are accessible via the MiDriva app, which offers real-time tracking and cashless payment options. For those who prefer a more traditional approach, the taxis can still be hailed directly on the street.
Mayor Bernard Wagner and City Councillors led the launch, thanking all stakeholders, drivers, and residents who have supported the initiative.
The service is staffed by trained, professional drivers and reflects the Council’s ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability.
