By Zoila Palma: Recently, the Belize City Council participated in Itz’at STEAM Academy’s Open Day, where students explored future career opportunities and learned about the many professions that contribute to serving Belize City.
“Our Human Resources Department and Public Health Unit enjoyed engaging with students and sharing how local government creates meaningful opportunities to make a difference in the community,” the Belize City Council said.
Itz’at aims to prepare students for careers and further study in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics on a campus that has a modern science lab, a digital media studio and a maker space.
