By Zoila Palma: The Belize City Council extended gratitude to all residents for making this year’s celebration truly magical!
“As our tradition, we lit up two Christmas trees simultaneously—a dazzling dual countdown made possible with the support of our supporting sponsor, Coca-Cola.
This year, we embraced something new at the Tree Lighting Ceremony by welcoming local vendors to share their delicious foods, festive drinks, and unique holiday gifts, bringing the community together in the heart of the city,” the Belize City Council noted.
The FREE Kids Zone was a success for the little ones who were able to meet Santa, enjoy free Coca-Cola, delight in cupcakes sponsored by local bakeries, and snack on delicious Snackers, creating unforgettable holiday memories for our youngest visitors.
“A special thank you to the Francis Reneau Concert Series: Christmas Edition for an unforgettable performance, and to Bowen & Bowen for partnering with us to bring exciting giveaways throughout the night,” the Belize City council added.
The lighting of the 60ft Christmas tree, officially welcoming the start of the season was magnificent.
Battlefield Park and Mule Park will remain lit all season long!
