Belize City Council encourages healthy living with new fitness nooks

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize City Council is encouraging all Belizeans to engage in Healthy living habits with daily exercise.

The Belize City Council is celebrating the installation of new fitness nooks in various areas across the city.

“Following the incredible community reception after our initial fitness nook installation in Collet Community Park in 2022, we made plans to expand this initiative.

Recently, we’ve expanded to Memorial Park, Digi Park and Berger Field, making it even easier for our community to stay active and healthy.

A huge thank you to our dedicated local area representatives, Hon. Henry Charles Usher, Hon. Anthony Mahler and Hon. Kareem Musa, for their continuous support in enhancing these open community spaces,” a statement from the Belize City Council said.

The Belize City Council says that more fitness nooks will be installed at other locations.
