By Zoila Palma: Recently, St. Joseph R.C. School hosted an exciting and inspiring School Spelling Bee, where students confidently showcased their literacy skills, courage, and love for learning.
The Belize City Council expressed pride to be able to participate with Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller serving as a judge—offering encouragement, guidance, and fair assessment throughout the competition.
“We commend all participating students for stepping up to the challenge and applaud the school community for its continued commitment to academic excellence and youth development,” the Belize City Council said.
The council expressed congratulations to winners:
Marien Montejo – 1st Place
Jayden Lewis – 2nd Place
“Both students will proudly represent St. Joseph R.C. School at the National Spelling Bee. We wish them the very best as they continue their journey—go shine,” the council added.
