By Zoila Palma: The Belize City Council is proud to welcome the Belize National Teachers’ Union for its 56th Annual Convention.
Mayor Bernard Wagner delivered the Welcome Address at this important gathering, which brings together educators and stakeholders from across the country in a shared commitment to growth, dialogue, and progress in education.
“We recognize the vital role teachers play in shaping our nation and strengthening our communities, and Belize City is proud to support this convention and the educators it brings together,” the Belize City Council said.
The Belize City Council also extended congratulations to President Nadia Caliz and the BNTU leadership for the engaging program designed for this week.
“We wish all participants a successful, productive, and inspiring convention,” the council added.
