By Zoila Palma: Today, the Belize City Council and DigiWallet took a major step forward in delivering on the Council’s 2024–2027 Manifesto with the official development agreement signing for the Belize City App initiative.
The Belize City Council says that this delivers on a key commitment in the 2024–2027 Manifesto, the development of a Belize City App designed to bring City Hall closer to the people.
App users will be able to view trade license and property tax statements, make secure online payments and submit applications for services like, trade licenses, liquor licenses, job opportunities.
Users will also receive real-time notifications from the Council
This app will allow you to see and manage your relationship with the City, all from the convenience of your mobile device.
“This is more than just an app, it’s a step toward a smarter, more connected Belize City where services are faster, more accessible, and built around YOU.
We’re proud to continue transforming how we serve our residents and building a city that works better for everyone,” the council said.
