By Zoila Palma: The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) kicked off the holiday season with its 14th annual Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday, November 29, at the Belize City Civic Center, drawing hundreds of visitors and more than 40 exhibitors.
This year’s event highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of Belizean businesses, offering a festive marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, seasonal décor, specialty foods, and unique holiday gifts.
The Extravaganza continues to serve as a vital platform for local artisans and small businesses to showcase their products while engaging directly with consumers seeking one-of-a-kind holiday items.
A special highlight this year was the participation of the Belize New Car Dealers Association, recognized as Gold Sponsors, who added excitement to the festivities with an auto show in the Civic Center’s exterior lot.
Visitors also had the opportunity to vote for their favorite exhibitor booths as part of the “People’s Choice” competition.
Authentic Mal/Mal & Sol Handmade Clay Jewelry tied for first place, while HEYABBZ secured second place.
The BCCI congratulated the winners for their exceptional creativity, professionalism, innovation, and efficiency—qualities that attendees said were clearly reflected in their displays.
The BCCI expressed gratitude to exhibitors, sponsors, supporters, and attendees for contributing to the success of the 2025 Christmas Extravaganza.
The Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Belizean businesses and fostering sustainable economic growth, emphasizing that events like the Extravaganza help create meaningful opportunities for entrepreneurs while strengthening the national marketplace.
