By Zoila Palma: Today, Mayor Bernard Wagner, Councillor Stephanne Hamilton, and the Belize City Council team were proud to stand in support and be part of the Belize Cancer Society’s first ever pink flag raising ceremony in Belize City.
Breast cancer awareness month is observed under the theme “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters”, is a reminder that every diagnosis of breast cancer is personal. Each diagnosis tells a different story of strength, struggle, resilience and hope.
“Let’s come together this month to support the Belize Cancer Society and take part in their awareness activities across the city,” the Belize City Council said.
