By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizeans are waking up to mostly sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today, but forecasters say the weather will change dramatically by nightfall.
According to the National Meteorological Service, moist and unstable conditions continue to dominate the region. While showers or thunderstorms will remain generally isolated during the daytime, activity is expected to increase tonight across much of the country, particularly over southern and coastal areas.
Marine conditions are forecasted to be choppy, with waves between 3 to 5 feet and light, variable winds. Temperatures will reach highs of 95°F inland, 90°F along the coast, and 84°F in the hills. Overnight lows will dip to 75°F inland, 81°F along the coast, and 68°F in the hills.
Looking ahead, Thursday is expected to bring widespread showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain throughout the country, with activity easing slightly by Thursday night.
The tropical weather outlook remains clear for now, with no cyclone development expected over the North Atlantic Basin in the next 48 hours.
