By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean boxer Julian Pacheco, Jr. defeated Mexican Rodolfo Lezma in an amateur Super Featherweight category (130 pounds) fight in the undercard of the Super Lightweight Amir ‘KingMir’ Rudon fight against Guatemalan pugilist Juan ‘El Toro’ Méndez at Swift Hall in Belize City on Saturday night.
Pacheco of Caye Caulker won by unanimous decision by a tight score of 29-28 over Chetumal’s Lezma.
His record now stands at 7-0, according to Belize Boxing Development Council’s Commissioner Javier Romero.
The boxing card was organized by Tres Reyes Promotions from San Ignacio and sanctioned by the Belize Boxing Development Council.
