The Belize Book Industry Association is hosting a Book fair in San Ignacio today.
Students from Pre, Primary and high schools are touring the booths and discovering more about Belizean writers and reading about Belize’s history.
The Institute for Social and Cultural Research is also at the Book fair promoting “Belize New Vison: African and Maya Civilizations” and “Let Belize Live: Speeches of the Premier” and other books are available in schools libraries.
The ISCR-NICH is always happy to engage students and promote reading about our culture and history.
“We congratulate all the members of BBIA for making this event happen. Books are an important component of our national and cultural development,” ISCR- NICH said.
