By Zoila Palma: The Belize Livestock Producers Association is inviting everyone to this year’s Belize Beef Fest & Rodeo.
The Beef Rest and rodeo will also feature a grilling competition on August 15 at the National Agriculture Showgrounds in Belmopan.
The event will bring together seasoned pitmasters, professional chefs, backyard grillers and barbecue lovers for a day of culinary competition and entertainment.
Competitors will have the opportunity to showcase their grilling skills in three categories: beef, pork and lamb. Participants will compete for cash prizes and the title of Belize Beef Fest Grill Champion 2026.
The competition offers a top prize of $1,000 for first place, while the second-place winner will receive $300 and third place will take home $200. Interested participants may enter one or more categories at a registration cost of $100 per category.

The Beef fest is expected to attract food lovers, families and supporters of Belize’s livestock and agricultural industries.
