By Horace Palacio: Fair, warm, and dry conditions continue to dominate Belize’s weather as a strong east to southeasterly airflow sweeps across the region. Skies remain sunny and cloudless for most of the country, with no rainfall expected today or tonight.
The National Meteorological Service has issued a Small Craft Warning due to persistent gusty winds between 15 to 25 knots, and rough to very rough sea conditions, with waves reaching up to 10 feet. Coastal residents and mariners are urged to take caution and avoid unnecessary marine travel.
Temperatures inland are forecast to peak near 95°F (35°C), while coastal regions will experience slightly cooler highs of 88°F (31°C). Hill areas will remain breezy with highs around 83°F (28°C).
Looking ahead, Sunday is expected to bring a continuation of dry conditions, though an isolated thunderstorm could develop inland during the afternoon or evening.
