By Zoila Palma: Minister of State in the Ministry of Economic Development Dr. Osmond Martinez along with CEO Carlos Pol and DFC CEO Henry Anderson, held a bilateral meeting with Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) President Daniel Best to discuss deepening cooperation on key development initiatives.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the CDB and the Development Finance Corporation (DFC), particularly as DFC advances its efforts to gain accreditation from the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
Key topics included expanded financing opportunities for farmers, support for ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects—such as roadworks and improvements to water and wastewater systems—and continued engagement through the CDB’s Special Development Fund (SDF).
