By Zoila Palma: Belize is celebrating another proud moment on the international stage as Miss World Belize, Faith Edgar, advances to the Top 40 finalists at Miss World and captures the Beauty with a Purpose challenge for the Americas and Caribbean.
Edgar’s achievement places Belize among the countries advancing in the prestigious global pageant, bringing national pride as she continues to represent the country on the world stage.
Reflecting on her Miss World journey, Edgar said the experience has allowed her to discover different sides of herself and recognize strengths she already possessed.
“I think the most unexpected gift of this experience was getting to meet myself in so many different versions,” Edgar shared.
She said the experience taught her that transformation was not necessarily about becoming someone new, but about recognizing the qualities that were already within her—including courage, resilience and discipline.
Edgar added that navigating unfamiliar rooms and stages helped her gain a deeper understanding of her own abilities and capacity to face challenges.
“This experience gave me a glimpse of my own capacity,” she said.
Edgar continues to make Belize proud on one of the world’s biggest beauty and humanitarian platforms.
