Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge: Memory Lane Global Mission win Stage 1, edging defending champions Slim and Trim like Guava Limb

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: In an exhilarating start to the Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge, Memory Lane Global Mission clinched victory in Stage 1, narrowly edging out the defending champions, Slim and Trim Like Guava Limb on Saturday at Banana Bank after five hours, 11 minutes, and 31.37 seconds. The race, which spanned from San Ignacio to Banana Bank, saw fierce competition among the participating teams.

The race continues with Stage 2, during which teams will paddle from Banana Bank to Double Head Cabbage.
