By Aaron Humes: Early this Thursday morning, a burglary occurred at a beauty salon located at Dolphin Drive, Belize City.
Police were called around 6:30 a.m. and met with the victim, a 50-year-old Belizean cosmetologist who operates the salon. Her establishment was broken into sometime between 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, and 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25. The exact items stolen are currently unknown.
Preliminary findings indicated that the burglar gained entry by prying open the front door of the salon.
As the investigation unfolds, police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
