Barbados Prime Minister congratulates Prime Minister Briceno on securing 2nd Term

By Zoila Palma: Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley of Barbados has offered congratulations to John Briceno on his re-election as Prime Minister of Belize for a second term, following his resounding victory in the general elections.

In a statement shared on social media, Prime Minister Mottley expressed her eagerness to continue strengthening regional ties and advancing mutual goals, saying:

“Congratulations to @JohnBricenoBZE on securing a second term as Prime Minister of Belize. As Prime Minister of Barbados and Chair of CARICOM, we look forward to continuing the work together to benefit our people and region.”

Prime Minister Briceno’s People’s United Party (PUP) won an overwhelming victory in the elections, securing 26 out of the 31 seats in the House of Representatives.
