By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Banquitas House of Culture is inviting you to the Hanal Pixan| Dia de Finados | Día de Muertos at Central Park, Orange Walk on November 2, 2024 at 5 pm.
This is being hosted by the Banquitas House of Culture, Northern Maya Association of Belize, and Eider Romero as they highlight the importance and significance of this tradition, remembering our dearly departed.
Bishop Martin High School will be having an altar exhibition.
The night includes trivia questions, games, cuentos, sharing and much more.
“Bring your offerings, photographs, and candles for our community altar, and indulge in this occasion as we celebrate the lives of our loved ones.
We encourage you to wear your traditional attire and embrace your culture with this grandeur celebration,” Banquitas House of Culture said.
