By Aaron Humes: Rangers from the Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE) and members of the Belize Coast Guard have made multiple busts of illegal fishing in Belizean waters, according to PGTV.
PGTV reports that the Lenten season is the time of the year when there’s an increase in illegal fishing, especially by our neighbours in Guatemala and Honduras
The bust was of several Guatemalans for illegally fishing in Belize waters with gillnets and other prohibited equipment.
