By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño and the Cabinet have thanked Minister of State Christopher Coye for his dedicated service to the nation and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.
Coye will continue to serve as a Government Senator after agreeing to a brief continuation as Minister of State for Finance, which he was first appointed in 2020.
Coye, according to Prime Minister Briceño, only agreed to stay on for a short period in the current administration as he wanted to return to private practice, similar to law partner, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Leader of Government Business in the Senate Eamon Courtenay.
Coye will continue to advise Briceño chiefly on financial matters.
