By Aaron Humes: Ashton Gill, a 30-year-old taxi driver residing at St. Thomas Street, was arrested today, Wednesday, and charged with unlawful sexual intercourse involving a minor. The arrest came after a report was filed by the minor at the Crimes Investigation Branch, Precinct Three.
According to the reports, the minor, accompanied by her mother, came forward on September 15, detailing incidents that occurred on September 8 and September 10. The minor alleged that she had sexual intercourse with Gill on these dates. Following the report, a statement was recorded and a medical examination confirmed the allegations.
Gill remains in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
