Armed Culprits target Country Meats truck in Salvapan, Belmopan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 1:30 pm today.

According to reports, the driver of a Country Meats delivery truck and his sideman arrived at a store and were about to take orders when a motorcycle approached.

The men saw 2 men wearing face masks and one armed with a gun.

The culprits proceeded to rob both men of their wallets, cash and phone.

The culprits then demanded the “money from the truck.”

The driver handed over a bag that had 2 cheques and $4,570 in cash.

The bandits then escaped.

Investigations continue.
