By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Despite days of consistent rainfall, the Institute of Archaeology has confirmed that Belize’s Archaeological Reserves and cave sites remain open to visitors.

The announcement was made early Thursday morning, with officials stressing that while sites are accessible, safety should remain a top priority.

Tour guides and operators are being strongly advised to maintain caution, especially when leading groups into caves or areas with water-related activities, which could become hazardous if weather conditions shift suddenly.

Officials reassured the public that additional updates will be provided if conditions deteriorate.
