By Aaron Humes: A shooting this morning in Belize City left 30-year-old Andre Kerr with multiple gunshot wounds. The Belize Police Department’s P3 support team responded to a call from the control room about a man with gunshot injuries at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
Upon arrival, the team observed Kerr with gunshot wounds to his eye, shoulder, and arm. Kerr, a mechanic residing at Custard Apple Street, was receiving medical attention from nurses at the hospital.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. While details are still emerging, police are working to determine the motive behind the attack and identify potential suspects.
